Alyssa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Stockton University
and participated in the active role of Cultural Chair for the Pilipino American Students
Association during her time at the university.
After realizing her true passions for helping others through their mental health and building healthier relationships, she has now pivoted her way to pursuing her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy National University, formerly known as Northcentral University.
Her passion for MFT stems from early life experiences where she developed an interest
in mental health and the effects of the environment and interpersonal relationships on the individual and the system as a whole. The scope of interest includes, but is not limited to, gender, sexuality, intergenerational trauma, and infidelity—the former being her concentration in couple relationships. She is determined to create a safe and judgment-free space for her clients, knowing the value in their experiences and how offering a comfortable space for them is the first step towards their healing journey.
